Ohr Kodesh Congregation was established in 1948 as the first Jewish institution in Montgomery County. We are a warm and welcoming congregation that seeks to satisfy the both the traditional needs and contemporary interests of a diverse membership. We are affiliated with United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
Ohr Kodesh provides the spiritual inspiration of both a morning and evening minyan every day. Our celebration of Shabbat, which enjoys a robust attendance, is known for its warmth and ruach (spirit) and is matched by beautiful observance of other Jewish festivals and holidays.
