Tot Shabbat

April 28, 2017 - 5:45pm - 7:30pm

Tot Shabbat is an enjoyable and relaxing way for families with preschool-aged children to end the week and enter Shabbat. Services are family-friendly, full of music and stories, and are led by Rabbi Fishman, Cantor Gerber, Cantor Labovitz, and Joanie Smeltz. We encourage you to stay for a family-friendly Shabbat dinner after services, where we will also celebrate April birthdays. The evening will conclude by 7:30 pm to make sure children get home for bedtime.

For children in grades K-2, this interactive Shabbat service incorporates tefilot, parasha stories, and activities. Led by Raviv Brooks, children learn how to daven with kavenah while still having fun! Mini Minyan meets every Shabbat in classroom 5.

Torah Tots

For all families with children ages birth to 4 years. Celebrate Shabbat with songs, tefilot, stories, and parasha activities. This interactive Shabbat service is led by Rachel Lang and meets twice a month in the Salzberg Family Library.

K'hilat T'filah

May 13, 2017 - 10:30am - 11:30am

A youth-led Shabbat service for all children in grades 3 – 7. Participants explore tefilot and learn new tunes while supported by Shabbat Crew teens and service leader, Jessica Woolf.  Kehilat Tefilah meets the second Shabbat of every month in classroom 2.
