Extended Day Programs
The ECC offers two Extended Day Programs, 2:30-4:00 PM and 4:00-6:00 PM. The two year olds remain in their core classroom. Programming is developmentally appropriate with a naptime and kosher snack provided.
Opportunities evolve for small group, mixed aged play for the 3 and 4 year olds as the afternoon progresses. A kosher snack is provided in the afternoon.
Children 15-24 months with a caring adult attend this 1.5 hour per week program facilitated by an ECC teacher.
Music and Hebrew
Once a week, the 2-4 year old classes have the opportunity to have Music with Ellie and Hebrew with Einat.
Ta’am Shel Shabbat
Every Friday we celebrate the “sweetness of Shabbat” with music and dance. The 2’s classes have Ta’am Shel Shabbat at 11:45-12 PM. At 12:30 PM, the 3’s and 4’s classes celebrate Ta’am Shel Shabbat. All are welcome and encouraged to join us.
With the same hours of operation and flexibility available as the preschool program, including extended day, our summer program is fun-filled summer programming with the quality staff of our school. Themes provide framework for field studies, water play, nature walks, Ta’am Shel Shabbat, and special visitors that come to the school. Outdoor activities are emphasized, with an air-conditioned indoors available throughout the day.
