Book Club: A Holocaust Survivor's Story

Special: Sunday, October 21 @ 11:00 am: "Imi; A lifetime in the Days of the Family Mandel" by Terry Fred Horowitz.  

Manny (IMI) Mandel is a docent at the Holocaust Museum, and often lectures there about the Jews of Hungary and their fate as WWII was in its final years. He was on the famous Kastner train which carried his mother, father and himself to Switzerland after a five month stay in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.

The author and Manny Mandel will discuss this book and the Jewish experience in Hungary during the last days of WWII.  The book will be available for purchase and personal inscription at the meeting.

You do not have to buy or read the book prior to attending.

Feel free to bring a dairy or parve lunch to the meeting. Coffee will be provided.
