Agnon’s Short Story: Habayit (The Home)
Moderated by Bob Gerwin (bbgerwin [at] gmail [dot] com or 301-728-7260)

A dreamlike wandering on the eve of Pesach, colored by the anxieties of preparing the home for the holiday. What constitutes a home, and what makes us free and not slaves? And who and where is Elijah? Must we provide our own ending to this story? Consider this selection preparation for the search the night before the Seder, and consider what is being sought and where we belong. Contact Bob Gerwin for information or for copies of this story. Copies can also be found on the table outside the sanctuary.

Everyone is invited. Each discussion is self-contained, so that it is not necessary to attend each session in order to participate, although attending each one would certainly be enriching. For more information, call Bob Gerwin, 301-728-7260 or email at bbgerwin [at] gmail [dot] com
