Rabbi Lyle Fishman will teach an ongoing class in key Jewish concepts on Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:00 AM. He will devote two class sessions to each of 15 - 20 essentials of Judaism. Study will include the ideas of covenant/brit, redemption and reward and punishment, among others. The class will read short essays on the chosen topics in the volume Contemporary Jewish Religious Thought, edited by Paul Mendes-Flohr and Arthur Cohen, supplemented with primary source material in translation.
