February 2 - 4: OKC Welcomes Musician and Disability Awareness Advocate, Charlie Kramer!

As we read Parashat Yitro and reflect on what it means to come together as a community, we each receive Torah “l’fi kocho” - according to our ability.

Charlie Kramer, song leader and inclusion coach, joins the OKC community for a weekend of music and discussion of new perspectives.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 5:00 pm,  Kabbalat Shabbat & Dinner with Charlie:  Registration is CLOSED.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 9:00 amWhat Does it Mean to Be Blind?: Charlie will break down one of our most mistranslated blessings and lead a discussion of what our tradition tells us it means to be blind during Shabbat Morning Services.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 7:30 pm, Singing in the Dark: Charlie is legally blind, with only 4% of his total vision remaining. He has no peripheral vision and is completely blind at night. Join us in a journey of the senses, blindfolding ourselves to experience the present moment without our sight. Charlie will guide participants through deeply feeling the challenges in our lives and transforming them into blessings through song, prayer, and meditation. Register by February 1. Registration will also be available at the door.
